Terms of Service

Effective July 23, 2026 · CedarPost is operated by Stetline LLC, Lancaster, California

What CedarPost is

CedarPost is communication and directory software for churches, operated by Stetline LLC ("we"). Each church runs its own private space: church staff decide who may join, post announcements, maintain the member directory, and administer their community. By creating an account or using CedarPost you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Accounts

Joining a church's space requires that church's invitation and approval — we don't decide who belongs to a congregation; the church does. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and give accurate information on your profile. Accounts are for people; a church's staff manage records for children in their ministries, and children do not hold accounts of their own.

Acceptable use

CedarPost exists so a church can communicate. Don't use it to:

Your church's administrators may remove content or members from their space at their discretion, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Text messaging

Where a church uses text messaging, it is opt-in only. Message frequency varies with your church's activity. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help; you can also change notification settings in the app at any time. Mobile numbers and opt-in information are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing — see the Privacy Policy.

Your content

What you post is yours. By posting it you give us and your church the permission needed to display and deliver it within your church's space — that's all the license is for. Announcements are your church's record; retracting one hides it from feeds but the record remains with your church.

The service, honestly

We work to keep CedarPost reliable and secure, but it's provided "as is" — we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and it should never be a church's only channel for a true emergency. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stetline LLC's liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount your church paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law says can't be limited.

Ending things

You may leave your church's space or delete your account inside the app at any time (see the Privacy Policy for exactly what each does). Churches may end their use of CedarPost, and we may suspend or end the service for accounts or churches that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll say so plainly on this page and update the date at the top. Continuing to use CedarPost after a change means you accept the updated terms.
